Recovery Carnival

After the hugely successful Recovery Games last year Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber Trust are putting on the Yorkshire and Humber Mutual Aid Carnival.

The event will be held in Doncaster on the 6 September 2014 and is planned as a spring board to the national recovery week and to help get in the spirit for the national recovery walk in Manchester.

The event will take place at Sandall Park in the centre of Doncaster and will bring together local communities, family, carers, friends to celebrate recovery and show that recovery can be fun.

You can pop along to watch or get a team of five together and come and take part, you never know your team may win.

Events will include such classics as tug of war, space hopper relay and lob a welly.

All proceeds will be donated to the Aurora Cancer Trust in Doncaster.

The aims of the day are;
