We currently have an exciting opportunity based in Doncaster to support service users in their recovery to develop their interests and shared experiences within the community.

The role is working within the community substance teams and will deliver care packages including psychosocial interventions.  You will support the needle exchange and specialist clinics.

The successful candidate will have a L3 drug and alcohol qualification or equivalent, GCSE English & Maths or equivalent e.g. level 2 and relevant experience in the substance misuse field.  Experience of working with electronic operating systems e.g. system one is desirable.

The successful candidate will support individuals to engage with services to improve health outcomes and reduce criminality.  The role will provide an assessment of risk and need and make onward referrals with relevant community services.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree e.g. Social Work, psychology, criminology OR L3 diploma in health and social care AND L3 drug and alcohol qualification or equivalent.  Experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system is desirable.
