The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of substance misuse awareness accredited and bespoke courses, internally and externally.
The successful candidate will have Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent e.g. PTTLS and knowledge of substances and treatment approaches or qualification in a relevant subject area. A Level 3 in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement or Level 3 in Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent is desirable.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team based in the hospital to support individuals with substance misuse problems to access treatment services.
The successful candidate must be able to engage people with substance misuse problems to enter treatment services, through providing advice, an assessment of need and brief interventions and making an onward referral to specialist services.
The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification or degree in a related subject e.g. Social Work and have knowledge of substances and their effects. Experience of undertaking assessments of need and risk, providing harm reduction advice and brief interventions are essential.
The service is available 7 days a week between 8am and 8pm, therefore you must be prepared to work on a rota basis. Consideration to part time working is available.

We currently have an exciting opportunity based in Doncaster Royal Infirmary to provide advice and guidance to substance misusers and support them to engage in the treatment system and community services.
The successful candidate must be able to provide all aspects of management support to the Service Manager and lead and manage a team of staff, whilst ensuring that the service is integrated within the A&E and wards in the hospital, the wider mental health team and with all elements of the local substance misuse system.
The successful candidate will have a professional qualification or degree in a related subject, ILM L5 in Management and evidenced experience of working with substance misusers or substance misuse treatment
approaches. Supervisory/line management experience is essential.
