Ellen is a qualified accountant (FCCA) with a Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting, she also qualified as a Chartered Director (CDir) with the Institute of Directors in 2014.
Following 8 years as an audit senior with a Doncaster based practice she held various roles in private companies as Company Accountant or Financial Controller, ultimately spending the last 17 years as Finance Director with Singleton Birch Limited, based in North Lincolnshire.
Following retirement in September 2023 she takes on a part-time role as Business Lead on the Singleton Birch/ Mississippi Lime ERP project.
