A registered social worker currently employed as a Principal Social Worker in a health and social care NHS Trust. Fran has worked in social care for 38 years in a range of different roles in various local authorities as practitioner and manager.
She has led staff in integrated mental health services delivered by both health and social care professionals and now provides leadership to social workers in these settings. Fran is currently involved in national project work to ensure that social work is valued and understood in health settings.
